Lubbock does NOT offer curbside recycling pickup. Recycling is available through 10 drop-off locations throughout the city. Materials must be separated by type. Locations open Monday-Saturday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM. Holiday Schedule

When collection falls on a city-observed holiday, garbage collection is typically delayed. Lubbock observes: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day (Thursday & Friday), Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Collection typically moves to the next business day. Citizen Convenience Stations and HHW facilities are closed on city holidays. Collection starts at 7:00 AM - residents should have carts at curb by then.
