Holiday Schedule

Oklahoma City observes the following holidays with collection schedule changes. Solid Waste Services do not have regular neighborhood collection on Wednesdays, so holidays falling on Wednesday typically do not impact the schedule. For holidays observed on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday, makeup collections occur on designated dates. Bulky waste service does NOT change due to the holiday calendar and continues on the first Monday of each month. Holidays are based on when City offices are closed, which may differ from the actual holiday date. If holidays fall on weekends, the City observes the Friday before or Monday after.
