Extra recycling can be placed in paper bags or cardboard boxes next to cart. Place carts 3 feet apart from each other and other objects. Set carts at curb by 6:00 AM on collection day. Recycling service is included in Ramsey County property taxes and billed separately from garbage service.
Holiday Schedule
Garbage and recycling collection is delayed by one day during holiday weeks when the holiday falls on a weekday. If your regular collection day is on or after the holiday, your pickup will be one day later that week. Major holidays observed: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day (Fourth of July), Juneteenth, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. No collection occurs on Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Check with your hauler or the city website for specific holiday schedules as they may vary by hauler.
