Containers should be rinsed of food residue. Keep the blue bin free of contamination - food waste, liquids, and non-recyclable items reduce recycling quality and can cause loads to be rejected. Visit Republic Services website or call 714-238-2444 for specific recycling questions.
Holiday Schedule
When a holiday falls on a weekday (Monday-Friday) or Sunday, residential trash, recycling, and yard waste collection will be delayed ONE DAY for the remainder of that week. If the holiday falls on a Saturday, there will be NO DELAYS. Major holidays affecting collection: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. The Anaheim Household Hazardous Waste Collection Center at 1071 N Blue Gum Street is closed on major holidays and rainy days. Collection times: Place bins curbside by 7:00 AM on your collection day.
